The Vienna Festival ballet presents a classic fairytale set to Tchaikovsky's magnificent score. This traditional and enchanting production has stunning choreography and beautiful costumes, which all combine to portray the struggle between good and evil.
Incensed at being snubbed at the christening of Princess Aurora, the wicked Fairy Carabosse lays a curse on the new Princess, saying she will prick her finger and die; but the Lilac Fairy intervenes and when the fateful day arrives the entire palace falls into a deep sleep. Prince Florimund is guided to the castle and awakens the Princess with a kiss.

Jenny Eclair has been a stand up comic since the last millenium; she is a Grumpy Old Woman, team captain, author and actress.
