Heritage Opera presents

LA TRAVIATA

by Giuseppe Verdi sung in Italian with English surtitles

Heritage Opera returns to Lancaster Grand Theatre with one of the most famous operas of all: La traviata, Verdi's heartwrenching tale of the doomed love affair between Violetta, a wealthy courtesan and Alfredo, a young nobleman. The production is set in the original period of 1840s Paris and stars the soprano Sarah Helsby-Hughes as 'the fallen woman' of the title. Don't miss what The Independent has called 'a source of pride in the north west'.
