 Set in New England around 1873, Billy Bigelow works on a carousel. He meets and falls in love with Julie Jordan.

They marry but soon he becomes violent and during a robbery dies.

Years later Billy is allowed to return to earth for one day to make amends.

 

The songs include “If I loved you”,“June is busting out all over” and the iconic “You’ll Never Walk Alone”
